Many mobile devices equip a small-sized touch panel. The large area of the device’s surface can be used as a display because the touch panel is a device that includes both functions of an output device and an input device. On the other hand, the operating area of the touch panel sometimes becomes small depending on the contents. In this research, we propose a novel interaction technique for touch panel using outside of a bezel. This technique can increase the number of input vocabulary and decrease the finger fat problem. This paper introduces the interaction design of our proposed technique, implementation and an example of the application.
